2011 officers meeting

I called a meeting of the incoming 2011 officers so we can sit down and briefly go over my plans and ideas for next year, and ellicit feedback from others.  We will be meeting at 6 PM in the Men's Lounge for an hour or so.  The meeting is open to all master masons.

Brat Fry this Saturday

We will be hosting a brat fry this coming Saturday (the 21st) at the South side Piggly Wiggly brat haus to raise funds for programs within the community.  Come on out between 9 AM and 3 PM and have some lunch.  Its for a good cause!

New Master Mason - Bro. Robert Buchholz

Last night we raised Bro. Robert Buchholz to the sublime degree of Master Mason!

Summer Dress Code

Tim Bartels, PM, when in the East a few months back approved summer dress code for officer during the hot summer months.  Considering the high heat and humidity we will again be in summer dress tonight for the Master Mason degree.

Summer dress is golf shirt and kakis.

Masonic Service for Hugo Wassell

Brethren,

It is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of Brother Hugo Wassell, father of Bro. Wes Wassell. There will be a Masonic funeral service for him tomorrow evening, Wednesday April 28th at 6:00 P.M. at Zimmer's Westview Funeral Home. We ask that you please gather at 5:35 P.M. at the funeral home at W2132 Garton Road (towards Howards Grove). Please dress appropriately; the chaplain will bring the aprons and gloves.

The city has put up our Masonic signs at the entrances of the city.  You can see them on Calumet or Kohler Memorial Drive.  Looks good, doesn't it?

Open House/Friends Night this coming Tuesday

Tours of the 1929 Sheboygan Masonic Mansion. Presentation on American and Masonic history by Robert W. Roth, lawyer, retired army colonel, and Past Master of Freemasons Lodge 363. Dinner will follow.

Lots of Degrees in February

We have four degrees coming up and hope to do them all in February.
February 2nd (stated meeting) will be the Master Mason ceremony for Bro. Jeff Kelm.
February 9th (special communication) will be the Master Mason ceremony for Bro. Rick Seidemann,
February 16th (stated meeting) will be the Entered Apprentice degree for Mr. Steve Craven with the possibility initiating Mr. Robert Buchholtz as well.

Table Lodge - 1/19/2010

I hope many are looking forward to our Table Lodge tomorrow(Tuesday) evening.

I am looking forward to the Good Fellowship, and smoking a cigar in the Game Room while we try and reach Matt via Skype.

Worshipful Masters Breakfast - 1/16/2010

There were 10 in attendance at the Worshipful Master's breakfast, at 8AM.

Aubrey made his usual fine pancakes and sausage. A number of us adjourned upstairs to the Game Room to shoot some pool, and before we left around 10AM, we were able to talk, visually and with sound, to Matt, via Skype. We are hoping to get a connection around 8:15 PM, Tuesday, following the Table Lodge.
